Facebook Tip # 1 “Why use Facebook?”
Simply to increase your company or organization exposure of these days you need a Facebook page. Facebook is a platform of free social network that allows you to post updates on events, screenings, products or your own thoughts to get more visibility, empathy, and his popularity.
It works like this: you create a page with content that you control completely. You should only post what you want a potential fan base to see. As you can imagine, advertising is a must, but it does not cost you much. You control how much you want to spend (more about that at the other end).
There are some options you have when creating a page.
One popular way is to create your page so that people can become your “fan”. For example, if your company is a local newspaper, then your customers can become fans of your Facebook page. It is then your (or volunteer) responsibility to send updates (at least some day!) In your fans to keep them informed of all upcoming events, sales, changes, etc. they may find useful.
If you’re a popular figure, the process is the same. You can post your upcoming shows, appearances, products, etc. The best part is that everything is free for you!
Facebook Tip # 2: “Preliminary questions / steps”
When you set up a Facebook page for a company, a person or group, Facebook users can choose from three criteria:
1) Your business is local?
2) Do you have a “brand” product “or are you part of an” organization “?
3) Are you an artist “,” band “or” public figure “?
After deciding what category to build your page, as there is a menu of 10-30 other categories to refine your business. You also have to allow you permission to create such a representative of that group. There are penalties for those who try to do it wrong.
Once you’ve created your page, it’s time to start building your website. But first, you should complete your profile and post an image or a photo / logo you want to link to your page.
You can view your address, phone number, web pages, interests and even political associations, if you choose! At least, you must provide your business address, telephone number and website address. Below your image / logo, Facebook also allows you to display an introductory text, which has an area of limited character. For example, you could put a slogan or a slogan. Below is your address below which is the space where the icons of your fans’ appear once they become your fan!
Now that you have your address, your photo / logo, your slogan, you want to fill your “info” section. NOTE: You can list the hours, if any, under your address.
Facebook Tip # 3: “Your Facebook layout”
The main part of Facebook is what is known as your “wall”. Your wall is where you want to display the text you want your fans to know (up to 420 characters per message). Your wall is the largest part of your Facebook page and that too your fans can post any of their thoughts.
They can do this in two ways: they can display on your wall or enter their text in a “fans only” section. This way, your messages and posts are actually separated.
Facebook also has many applications you can use to make your page unique.
For example, one of the most popular options is to download pictures on your wall. You can do this in a number of ways. You can download a single photo from your computer or take with your webcam. Finally, you can also create a photo album and upload hundreds of photos if you wish.
This is a great way to personalize your page. If you agree, your fans can post photos too. There are numerous privacy options, you can apply if you wish (we’ll get to them in another tip).
In addition to adding photos, you can also add videos to your wall. The videos are a great way to get your message out there in a hip and unique fashion. You can take video from your webcam and upload it to Facebook. Another way to add a video is to download one from your computer.
